Melidoni is a small Cretan mountain village in the area of Apokoronas, 30kms southeast of the city of Chania. It is built in an altitude of 451 mtrs and it is well know for the green lash landscape. The large prominent church of the village, with its dome and two towers, is really unique. From the square that runs around the church you've got a wonderful view over Apokoronas and Souda Bay.
